Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met by our friendly guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Take this day to relax and acclimatize, enjoying the stunning views of Mount Meru. In the evening, meet your safari guide for a pre-safari briefing and dinner.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known as the "Elephant Playground." Enjoy a full day of game drives spotting herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Marvel at the ancient baobab trees that dot the landscape. Evening transfer to your tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and largest inactive volcanic caldera. Spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim for breathtaking views. Overnight at crater rim lodge.
Travel to the endless plains of Serengeti, home to the Great Migration. Witness millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles crossing the savannah. Spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas in action. Enjoy evening game drives and dinner at your luxury tented camp overlooking the plains.
Continue your adventure in the central Serengeti, known for its high concentration of wildlife. Track the Big Cats and witness the daily drama of predator and prey. Optional hot air balloon safari available at sunrise (at extra cost). Return to camp for dinner and overnight under the African stars.
Depart Serengeti and head to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and flamingos. Enjoy a game drive through the groundwater forest before heading back to Arusha. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner sharing your safari memories.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for shopping or additional activities in Arusha. You'll then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Tanzania safari adventure. We look forward to welcoming you back!
